PatRobertson.com - Christian leadership to change the world-this is the vision of Regent University. Dr. Pat Robertson founded the university over 20 years ago with the purpose of training men and women to represent Christ in their professions. The university offers graduate-level programs-masters and doctoral programs-in business, communication, divinity, education, government, law, psychology and counseling. Since 1985, over 60 Latin Americans have received degrees from the university. A majority of those students were selected as emerging leaders in their countries, and given scholarships. Today, many of the graduates, in influential positions, are transforming their societies.

Jose Gonzalez
I am Jose Gonzalez and I'm an Uruguayan. I had the privilege to be the first Latin American to graduate from Regent University in 1985. The year after my graduation from the school of government, in which I am now an adjunct professor, I established a ministry called Semilla. It's dedicated to recruiting exceptional Latin American leaders to come to the university. My education at Regent University transformed my understanding and prepared me to look into the Word of God for the principles on which nations, families, churches and individuals are founded. Doctor Robertson, I'm deeply thankful for the impact that you have had in my life, which allows me to serve so many other Latin American leaders. Thank you very much.

Omar Morillo
I'm Omar Morillo from Caracas, Venezuela. I obtained a master's degree in education in 1988 from Regent University. In 1989, I received a second master's in communication, with an emphasis in TV production. Presently, I work in production at the Christian Broadcasting Network. I'm the senior producer for Latin America and I also host our main program for Latin America, Vida Dura. The education that I received from Regent University was a complete, integral education because it was taught from a biblical perspective. I was the first Latin American who received a complete scholarship from the university, and now, I can say that I owe my profession, my career, first to God, and then to Dr. Robertson and the university. Flory Pacheco
I'm Flory Pacheco from Guatemala. I obtained two master's from Regent University in 1993, one in education and another in public policy. Presently, I work as the executive director of a foundation that carries out rural development projects to benefit the Indian community in Guatemala. Pat, from you I learned vision and leadership, to think big, to fight for my dreams. Thanks for being obedient to God concerning Latin America.

Jaime Farrach
My name is Jaime Farrach and I'm from Guatemala. In 1992, I received a master's in communication from Regent, with an emphasis in media management. Presently, I'm the vice president of COICOM, the Ibero-American confederation of Christian communicators. I want to give thanks from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Pat Robertson not only because he gave scholarships to some international students, and the opportunity to study at Regent University, but I want to thank him especially for being an inspiration to my life.

Marcela Matviuk
My name is Marcela Chavan de Matviuk and I'm from Argentina. Currently, I'm the only Latin American woman who is studying in the doctoral communication program at Regent University. I also work at CBN in the area of television production for Latin America. In the future, I plan to return to my country to serve in the areas of leadership training and education. Mauricio Mayorga
I'm Mauricio Mayorga from Costa Rica. I graduated from Regent in 1993 with a master's in television journalism and presently I work with CBN as the director for Latin America. The education at Regent was something very important because it not only gave me professional tools but it also shaped me spiritually, which is so necessary for a Christian in the area of communications, in the world today.
